How to Control Bullying on a School Bus #2730-DV
Preview Now
For bullies interested in picking on their peers, the school bus is an ideal location. Because a bus is a small, enclosed space and students often have no choice but to ride the bus, they can easily become regular targets. Plus, with the only adult being the bus driver, supervision is often difficult because the driver cannot react to every incident because he or she is operating the vehicle. Using extensive role playing to demonstrate anti-bullying techniques, this program trains bus drivers on how to assertively deal with bullying issues on the school bus. Your bus drivers will learn:
  • How to recognize the early warning signals of bullying
  • Anti-bullying techniques that can be used to diffuse situations before they get out of hand
  • How to implement an effective _consequence plan_ that will make students responsible for their actions.
